Do you have an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other? Are you hearing the whispers of ‘ought to’ in one ear, and ‘why not’ in the other? I am not suggesting you are hearing voices! Nor am I implying you are not capable of choosing to do the right/best thing. I am wondering though, if you are sure of what the choice before you truly represents. If you take time to investigate the reason you’re feeling so conflicted, you’ll realise that you know exactly what you need to do. You are wiser than you give yourself credit for.
