How often do you check a weather app, only to see that its assessment of what is to come, has shifted significantly? There is often no point in trying to guess at what we need to wear, when we are being predicted to shower and finding a deluge on our doorsteps. You cannot change the weather. Nor can you influence a certain situation beyond speaking your piece. Once you have got your feelings off your chest, you may as well pack an umbrella and prepare for a storm. It’s better to be prepared than to suffer with being ill equipped to handle adversity.
