In the olden days, there were lots of jobs that we had to do manually such as a knocker-upper who was someone that would wake those who needed to get to work. Thanks to modern technology a lot of the repetitive tasks have been replaced by machines. Does that mean the job itself is any less relevant? Don’t we all still require alarm clocks? An increase in efficiency doesn’t reduce the value of the task. This week, the skills you hold are of great value, regardless of how easy you find something. Don’t sell yourself short.
