Vampire bats are every bit as real as garlic breath. There is no question as to whether they exist. The chances of them flocking to attack humans though, are rather slim. Whether something is a credible threat or not depends not so much on the sharpness of teeth, but the circumstances of hunger. What you are wishing for today will have much more power if you can allow it to fly freely.
