The generation above us, no matter our age, always believes that the times they lived in were simpler.. When we become used to things being the way they are we get comfortable. That makes the process of change inevitably something other than soothing for us. Sometimes this is exciting. It is liberating. Sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming.
